Art Exhibit at The Barrel Room! Join us for an afternoon of creativity and inspiration as we showcase the works of talented artists. Explore a variety of mediums including paintings, sculptures, and photography. This in-person event is a great opportunity to support local artists and immerse yourself in the beauty of their creations.

Artists:

Vicente Jr. “Jun’x” Pado is a distinguished artist and tattooist whose creative journey began at the University of the Philippines - Diliman, where he honed his craft and earned recognition through wins in prestigious art competitions like the Shell National Students Arts Competition and Art Petron. After graduation, Pado transitioned into film, working as an Art Director and Production Designer for both independent and major studios. With two successful solo shows in the Philippines, Terra Mater (2011) and Gulong (2014), Jun’x now resides in Los Angeles, where he continues to shape his artistic legacy as a tattoo artist and dedicated father.

Alex Silver, a lifelong surfer from Los Angeles, channels his deep connection to nature into a powerful artistic mission. Through Have A Nice Day Painting Co., he transforms recycled surfboards into vibrant works of art that spread messages of kindness, respect, and self-love. Silver’s Surfboard Series honors the life of each board, giving them a second purpose while inspiring a ripple effect of positivity. His art challenges us to rediscover the beauty in everyday moments and embrace the power of kindness.

Nonie Cruzado is a dynamic fine artist whose work is deeply rooted in personal experiences and philosophical exploration. Born and raised in the Philippines, he now calls Boulder, Colorado home, after moving to San Diego in 2014. A graduate in Painting from the University of Santo Tomas, Cruzado’s work has been showcased in galleries across the U.S. and internationally, including in California, Makati, and Venice. A versatile multidisciplinary artist, he works in mediums ranging from painting to digital art, film, and more, with notable contributions to the documentaries A Long March and Reclaiming Denver’s Chinatown.

For over 30 years, Jack Knight has been a creative force, skillfully turning abstract ideas into striking, tangible works of art. His extensive experience spans a wide range of mediums, styles, and artistic expressions, allowing him to craft unique, personalized pieces for a diverse array of clients. Jack’s work is driven by his passion for transforming the intangible into something concrete—whether it’s his own creative visions or the concepts of those he collaborates with. He excels at taking complex, often nebulous ideas and distilling them into clear, powerful visual forms that not only capture the essence of a concept but also breathe life into it. By deeply understanding his clients' goals and objectives, Jack is able to translate their thoughts into impactful and meaningful artwork, ensuring every project resonates with purpose and creativity. Each piece he creates is not just art—it’s a carefully crafted manifestation of an idea made real.
